The results indicate that there is no direct statistical relationship between subjective well-being and absolute income.

However, the egocentric di- mension is associated with relative income in the sociological and psychological standards. There is no significant relationship between objective and subjective well-being, except for a weak correlation between ownership of material goods and egocentric factors. Finally, it was found that employed individuals report higher levels of subjective well-being, compared to unemployed.
